…for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, the Joy of the Lord is my strength (Neh. 8:10b)

Have you ever felt like you just couldn’t do THIS anymore (whatever YOUR THIS is)?

There have been so many times that I felt like I couldn’t go through weakness, tiredness, and fatigue again. I had experienced this alot during a time in my life that I didn’t understand what was going on; before I was diagnosed with a tumor in the middle of my brain.

I would go to God; literally crawling on my knees into my secret place and say, “God I can’t do this.” I would stay there and simply talk to my Father in heaven as He was my very best friend. When I walked away EVERYTIME; I would have joy and strength that only He could have imparted to me.

Then He told me that “I need not fight in this battle, for the battle in not yours BUT MINE! Only station yourself, stand see the salvation of the Lord in your behalf.” 2 Chron. 20:17

I stood on this scripture and continued through the process as I was daily going to my secret place in the middle of the day, falling on my knees and saying, “God I can’t do this.” Then I would talk to Him. Sometimes I would sing to Him, sometimes I would say, “I don’t really have anything to say, so I’m just going to sit here.” He never let me down.

Jesus Christ IS the Living God and there is NO god on earth that can do that. No amount of meditation on other beliefs, no foreign god, no statue of wood, or granite or anything else, can satisfy and give you what you need. ONLY the Living God can do that for you. But, YOU have to go to Him as an act of YOUR will. He will not invade your space unless invited by you.

So If you’re weak, tired, hurting, feeling betrayed, etc…or just plain fed-up with life and people.

Run to God NOT away from Him. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. There is NOT one thing that He can’t or won’t help you through. Your responsibility is only to COME TO HIM freely and honestly. He won’t be offended by you. He loves you very much.

The next time you feel this way, try it! Be honest and let Him know that you can’t do it on your own and ask Him to help you. He will.
